Development Services offers one-stop shopping for general information and the permits needed for development activity in Bellevue and the utility service area.
For electrical, low-voltage, mechanical, plumbing and re-roof "simple" permits that do not require plan review, you can apply for permits online at mybuildingpermit.com.
Information about permits for parks, residential parking and special events is also available on the city's website.

New Construction Codes take effect on July 1, 2010 -- including the 2009 editions of the International Codes (building, fire, fuel gas, mechanical, and residential), the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code, the Washington State Energy Code, and the ICC/ANSI Accessible Buildings Code. |
Changes are proposed for the city's water and sewer utility codes. Utilities Codes and Standards The Environmental Services Commission welcomes comments on the proposed code changes at a public meeting on July 8.
